The cuisine in Lisbon is surprisingly diverse, and as reasonable as you are likely to find in Western Europe. We’d also recommend a visit to Porto, where traditional lodges clamber up the banks of the Douro, a symbol of the city’s famous port wine - crack open a good bottle of vintage before you leave.
