Check out Cabaret Au Limonaire The little joint Au Limonaire, tucked far away from the big commercial cabarets off rue Bergère, is one of the best places to listen to traditional French chansons and other traditional vocals from 10pm each night (7pm Sundays; 8:30pm Mondays). |

Go out at La Perle La Perle is where bobos (bohemian bourgeois) come to slum it over un rouge (a glass of red wine) until the DJ arrives and things liven up. We love the (for real) distressed look of the place and the locomotive over the bar. Open until 2am every night of the week. |

Traditional french dinner La Tête de Goinfre (literally, ‘Glutton Head’) is a funny little place with a piggy theme which runs through into the cuisine, from the charcuterie to munch on while you wait for a table to the confit de porc (pork confit). It’s a lively place. Always packed and an evening to experience. |
