Clubbing at Roxy A seminal club for years, Roxy still manages to run with the clubbing pack, and sometimes lead the way. DJs from Vienna’s electronica scene regularly guest on the turntables and most nights it can get pretty busy on the dance floor. Expect a crowded, but very good, night out here. |

Top schnitzels experience Vienna would simply be a little less without Figlmüller. This famous Beisl has some of the biggest – and best – schnitzels in the business, and everyone knows it. The décor might be too contrived for some, but all in it’s an enjoyable experience. |

Griechenbeisl guesthouse As the oldest guesthouse in Vienna (1447), and once frequented by Beethoven, Schubert and Brahms, Griechenbeisl is still a lovely haunt with vaulted rooms and age-old paneling. Every classic Viennese dish is on the menu, and in summer the plant-fringed front garden is the best place to be. |
